E-Signature PIN Blocked: What to Do?

If you enter your PIN wrong several times, the token locks itself. This is a security feature, not a fault.

PIN and PUK

• PIN: the code you enter each time you sign.
• PUK: the code used to unlock a blocked PIN and set a new one.

Both are given to you with your e-signature. Keep them safe and away from the token.

If the PIN is blocked

Open the token's management software, unlock with the PUK and set a new PIN. See our installation guide, or we can help via remote connection.

If the PUK is blocked too

The lock becomes permanent and you need a new e-signature. Apply here.
