KEP Address for Companies: Why You Need It and How to Get One
eimzahemen · 03.11.2026
KEP (Registered Electronic Mail) records who sent a message to whom, when it was sent and when it was delivered, with the value of legal evidence. Think of it as the electronic equivalent of a registered letter or notarial notice.
Why companies use KEP
- Formal notices: Article 18 of the Turkish Commercial Code allows notices between merchants (default, termination, rescission) to be sent by notary, registered mail, telegram or through the KEP system using a secure electronic signature.
- Official correspondence with public institutions and electronic notifications.
- Speed and cost: same-day, documented delivery without a notary.
How to apply
- Choose a KEP package.
- Enter the company and authorized person details.
- Complete the authorized person's identity verification.
- Your login details are sent once the account is active.
Signing KEP messages requires a secure e-signature; if the authorized person has none, get an e-signature together with KEP.
